Teller
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Teller to provide outstanding service to members while processing a variety of financial transactions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering an excellent customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Welcome members in person and over the phone, providing professional, courteous, and efficient service.
- Process a variety of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and other account-related requests.
- Verify transaction accuracy and review documents for completeness and compliance.
- Assist members with account maintenance, including address changes and other account updates.
- Handle cashier's checks, money orders, and other financial service transactions.
- Research and assist with debit card and ATM-related requests, coordinating with internal departments as needed.
- Maintain and balance a cash drawer accurately at the end of each day.
- Educate members on available products and services and identify opportunities to refer solutions that fit their financial needs.
- Build strong member relationships through exceptional service and effective communication.
- Maintain knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Support branch operations and assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Previous cash handling, teller, banking, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
